Gascolator Bracket Design

When I needed a gascolator holder, I wanted one with the following features:

1. It had to provide a channel for forced cooling air.
2. It had to take up minimum space on the firewall.
3. It had to provide a through-the-firewall fuel connection.
4. It had to be possible to easily remove the fuel cup.
5. It had to easily attach to the firewall, and be very sturdy.
6. It had to be possible for me to make it.

The design I came up with is shown here. The disadvantages of this gascolator holder are that it is a little heavy and it took me much too long to build it. Otherwise, it meets all of my requirements.
