Chris,
Had the IAC+EAA Board meetings this past weekend. Thought you might like a copy of the letter I gave to Tom P. and to Bob Mackey of the EAA Chapter Office.
Both Tom and Paul P. were very interested in the events at the Fly-In, and we spent a good 10 minutes speaking about them.
Please pass on to Norm and Russ.

Dear Tom,
Thought you would enjoy a note on a major success pulled off by one of your chapters.
Norm Howell, Chris Reeder, and Russ Erb of EAA Chapter 1000 (Edwards Air Force Base) orchestrated an absolutely First Class Fly-In and exhibit of several hundred G. A. Aircraft. The event was in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of Supersonic Flight Celebration at Edwards.
The arrival, display, aircraft protection, and departure plans were all executed with thoroughness and attention to detail.
I and the other IAC members that flew in together all had an unforgettable time, and are indebted to Norm, Chris, Russ, and all the members of EAA #1000 for making it possible.
